The ACTU is The Ohio State University AIDS Clinical Trials Unit. The unit is one of 30 sites nationwide that conduct federally-sponsored research studies for the treatment of HIV and AIDS and related illnesses. An expert, interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and social workers staff the ACTU, and are ready to answer your questions.

This study for HIV infected people will test the ability of an investigational therapeutic vaccine to increase a part of the immune system (CD4 cells) which may have an effect on the course of HIV infection.
