Recycle with CATF and Benefit Clients
Never quite sure what to do with used ink
and toner cartridges from your printer? Well, we’ve got a route you can take to
not only help the environment but also help CATF clients. CATF gets a small
amount of money back from the Green Fund Network for every used ink and toner
cartridge. So rather then toss these into landfills or go to the trouble of
seeking out another way to recycle these items, bring them to CATF, 1751 East
Long Street. CATF will earmark any proceeds from this effort towards Client
Social Nights. Last year CATF started a monthly Client Social Night to provide
clients with the opportunity to come together in a non-judgmental environment
and for a brief period of time perhaps forget about the issues they deal with on
a day to day basis. The client nights typically attract between 20 and 30
individuals.
CATF doesn’t have
the budget to always do special things during these Client Nights which quite
often ends up being something as simple as playing bingo or cards. CATF is able
to sometimes secure free passes/tickets allowing the Client Social Night to be
an off-site outing. CATF tries to provide some beverages and snacks (including
some healthy items) at these events. For more information on the ink/toner
recycling OR if you would just like to make a direct contribution of money,
tickets or food to Client Social Nights, contact CATF Office of Advancement at
